Monaco Cycling Criterium 2026: What traffic adjustments are planned?

Port Hercule will host the 51st Monaco Cycling Criterium this Sunday 22 March. Please be aware that there will be changes to traffic and parking arrangements.

As in previous years, the event village for this sporting event will be set up on Quai Albert Ier, and the race route will run along Route de la Piscine – Avenue J.F. Kennedy – Boulevard Albert Ier, requiring the following traffic arrangements:

VEHICLE TRAFFIC

From Saturday 21 March at 11.00 pm to Sunday 22 March at 6.30 pm, traffic on Boulevard Albert Ier will be permitted only on the service road, while traffic will be prohibited on the uphill lanes of Quai Antoine Ier between Route de la Piscine and Boulevard Albert I^er.

On Sunday 22 March, from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm, traffic will be prohibited on:

• Darse Sud (South Dock Basin)
• Route de la Piscine
• Avenue J.F. Kennedy
• Quai des États-Unis, between the restricted-access quay area and its junction with Route de la Piscine

In addition, a one-way traffic system will be introduced from the start of Quai Antoine Ier, after the Rocher Noghès tunnel, up to the Esplanade des Pêcheurs.

VEHICLE PARKING

From 21 March at 11.00 pm to 22 March at 6.30 pm, parking will be prohibited on:

• Quai Antoine I^er, between the Rocher-Noghès tunnel and the Quai Antoine I^er car park
• The entire length of Boulevard Albert I^er
• Route de la Piscine
• Jules Soccal jetty
• Darse Sud (South Dock Basin)
• Louis Chiron corner
• Quai des États-Unis, between the restricted-access quay area and its junction with Route de la Piscine

CAM URBAN BUS SERVICES

On 22 March, from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm:

• The "Stade Nautique" and "Princesse Antoinette" stops will be served in the roadway
• Route no. 1 will be diverted via Rue Grimaldi and the Dorsale, before rejoining its usual route at the "Portier" stop; the "Kennedy" and "Auditorium Rainier III" stops will not be served
