Traffic and travel arrangements for the 83rd Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Monaco Grand Prix

The 83rd Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Monaco Grand Prix will take place from Thursday 4 June to Sunday 7 June 2026. To allow the event to run safely, a number of temporary traffic and parking measures will be introduced across the Principality.

On 4,5,6, and 7 June from early morning until the end of the event, motorists will not be able to drive on:

• Quai des États-Unis
• Route de la Piscine
• Jules Soccal Jetty
• South Dock
• Boulevard Albert Ier 
• Quai Albert Ier 
• Quai Antoine Ier 
• Avenue de la Quarantaine 
• Rocher Albert I tunnel
• Rocher Noghès tunnel 
• Rue Grimaldi, between Place Sainte-Dévote and Rue Princesse Florestine 
• Avenue d’Ostende 
• Avenue de la Costa, between number 3 and Avenue d'Ostende
• Place du Casino 
• Avenue de la Madone (between Avenue des Spélugues and Avenue de Grande-Bretagne) 
• Avenue des Spélugues 
• Avenue des Citronniers (as far as the entrance to the Métropole car park)
• Avenue Princesse Grace (between Avenue des Spélugues and Boulevard Louis II)
• Avenue de Monte-Carlo 
• Boulevard Louis II 
• Avenue J.-F. Kennedy 
• Boulevard du Larvotto between Rue du Portier and the Auréglia roundabout (in this direction)

One-way systems will be reversed on:

• Rue Princesse Florestine, between Rue Suffren Reymond and Rue Grimaldi
• Rue Suffren Reymond, between Rue Louis Notari and Rue Princesse Florestine
• Rue Saige
• Rue de Millo, between Rue Saige and Rue Terrazzani
• Rue Terrazzani 
• Avenue du Port between the start of Avenue de la Quarantaine and the roundabout on Place d’Armes

And a two-way traffic will temporarily operate on:

• Rue Grimaldi, between Rue Suffren Reymond and Place d’Armes
• Rue Notari, between Rue Suffren Reymond and Rue Princesse Antoinette

Please note:

• The road will be closed to traffic on the Auréglia slip road, Sainte-Dévote tunnel and Débarcadère tunnel until the end of the events
• Traffic is prohibited on the Avenue des Papalins, between no. 13 and no. 39  (in this direction) as well as between Avenue des Papalins and Avenue Albert II (in this direction), this weekend and from 11 pm on 3 June until 7 June (all day)

Other road traffic arrangements, in place only on 6 and 7 June from early morning until the end of the events:

• The one-way traffic system in Monaco-Ville will be suspended 
• Vehicles not registered in Monaco will not be allowed to drive along Avenue de la Porte Neuve
• Finally, from 15 to 18 June, between 9.30 am and 4 pm, one-way traffic system will be in place on Avenue J.-F. Kennedy, between the Sainte-Dévote roundabout and Quai des États-Unis (in this direction). Consequently, vehicles travelling along this avenue from Boulevard Louis II will be required to head towards Quai des États-Unis

Parking will not be permitted in the following locations:

• From 31May at 5 pm to 8 June (all day):
  • Avenue du port, in parking areas reserved for two-wheeled vehicles and the area reserved for “deliveries” between Place d’Armes and number 3
• From 31May at 11 pm to 8 June at 8 am:
  • Avenue de la costa, between number 3 and Avenue d'ostende 
• From 31May at 11 pm to 8 June (all day):
  • Quai Jean-Charles Rey, on the two spaces opposite number 16

Pedestrians with a 83rd Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Monaco Grand Prix ticket or an access pass issued by the Automobile Club de Monaco (or the Police Department) will, however, be able to walk within the circuit perimeter and on the following roads:

• Quai Albert Ier 
• Avenue de la Costa, between number 3 and Avenue d’Ostende 
• Costa staircase 
• Sainte-Dévote Costa staircase
• Boulevard du Larvotto, between Rue du Portier and Rue Louis Aureglia 
• Avenue de la Porte Neuve 
• Avenue de la Quarantaine 
• Rue des Remparts 
• Terrasse du Ministère d'État

From 3 to 7 June, the following “Monaco ON” electric vehicle charging stations will be out of service:

• Rue Grimaldi 
• Rue Louis Notari 
• Avenue de la Quarantaine 
• Quai Jean-Charles Rey (station near the Harbour Master's Office) 
• Quai des États-Unis

Those installed on Rue Florestine and Avenue des Ligures and Avenue de la Madone will remain out of service until 9 June.

As part of its mobility plan, the Prince’s Government will continue to offer free travel on the Monegasque Bus Company (CAM - Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco) network during major events in the Principality in 2026.

All bus services will therefore be free of charge from 1 to 8 june inclusive on the entire network (not limited to routes serving the 83rd Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Monaco Grand Prix venues)

Bus routes will also be diverted, but additional services will operate during the event. For full details, visit the official CAM website.
